Ouch

I managed to gash open my big toe yesterday on the new brick walk that CLif and my dad put in. I really opened up my toe. Even more bizarre before the pain set in I was fascinated by trying to identify the tissue level it opened it up to. I think I made it all the way to muscle. At least that's what the striations of the tissue looked like.

But its been so long since I study tissues I could be completely wrong.

Then the pain set in and I'm now beginning to worry about infection. Since I have to go to a conference tomorrow through Wednesday in Orlando if it is infected it will be Thursday before anyone with a medical degree will get a look at it.

I can only where my flipflops at the moment. No shoes are going over this sucker today unless people what to here me scream. That might upset the neighborhood kids a bit. Did I mention I also dropped teh granite door stop on this foot. Yeah, not good.

Also Clif has me watchin gthe Angels in America miniseries off of HBO. The first two sucked...as in so depressing I wanted to throw myself off the roof, give up on happiness, and crawl into bed never to re-emerge.

The third and forth haver been better. It's a good series, and I woudl recommend it to anyone in need of a good cry or who is emotionally strong enough to handle the painfull beginning.

It has a good prespective question on what is love and how does it relate to sex, and what happens when two people who are together don't have the same definition and aren't strong enough. Then there's the ultimate evil ...Roy Crone. Goddess, that guy 3was a piece of work.

Hmmmm. Sort of like the movie, Fargo. Note to self: stay away from wood chippers.
